Bonanaza
Before today I'd had one sale on Bonanza since I started listing there a couple of months ago. Well today I had two sales and one offer which I accepted but hasn't been paid yet. To me this is an indication of holiday buying. If you have been thinking about trying Bonanza now is probably the best time to do so. Below are the things I sold or had offers on today. So if like me, you have a Bonanza account but just haven't been using it get your ebay or etsy stuff up there. Or if you've been thinking of opening a Bonanza account now is the time to try it. Do you use Bonanza? If so have your sales been increasing there?

I'm happy to hear that you've had sales on Bonanza. I haven't yet, but maybe one or two will happen before the holidays. I've been experimenting by taking 3 items a day and tweeting them using hashtags on the keywords. The views spike up to about 30 for each item. I'm just trying to put the name Bonanza out there so hopefully people will see it exists and maybe I'll get a sale in the process. I wish they'd start advertising.
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything about Twitter. Can you tweet without having any followers? I'd be interested in maybe trying that. You are right. I never thought about it but Bonanza doesn't advertise, do they? I wonder why.
DeleteWe've sold about 8 items on Bonanza since this summer (5 months now?). It's always a nice surprise but pretty poor performance for a site that's been around so long. Definitely not the eBay killer folks hoped it would be.
ReplyDeleteI had joined it a couple of years ago and briefly tried it with zero success but I didn't give it very long. I've never heard anybody talk about having GREAT success there. Maybe I'll check out their message boards if they have them and see what people there are saying. Maybe they aren't the font of doom and gloom that the ebay boards are. Like you said it doesn't replace ebay sales but it is a nice bonus when you do get a sale.
