Sales have been picking up this past week after a very slow week the week before. How are your sales this week?
Bailey's Irish Cream Cookie Jar. Paid $4. Sold for $54.99 plus shipping. This cookie jar even had some chips on the edge of the lid.
Vintage Pendleton Plaid Skirt. Paid $3. Sold for $39.99 plus shipping. Perfect for Christmas.
Double H Cowboy Boots. Paid $5. Sold for $40 best offer. Plus shipping.
I always pick up vintage Pendleton items if the price is right. Tip: hold them up to the light to look for holes. Moths seem to like them too. ;o) Little holes have never seemed to keep something from reselling, but I always point them out in the ad.
ReplyDeleteOf course, the vintage Pendleton shirts I've picked up somehow usually end up in my husband's closet!
Thanks for the tip on holes. I always look closely but I never thought to hold the item up to the light. Once I picked up a bunch of shirts really cheap. In the excitement of finding them I didn't look at them close enough and found damage on almost all of them once I got them home. Oops. I ended up selling them as a lot and still made a little money on them but I hate when I miss stuff like that.
DeleteSales haven't been anything special. Actually, so far, September was better for my sales than October. I love selling cookie jars!
ReplyDeleteI like cookie jars too. I've found a few really good ones. Usually though the ones at the thrifts have damage.
DeleteCool cookie jar! Nice sale.
ReplyDeleteIsn't he cute? I don't know if Bailey's still sells these promo items? I remember seeing the coffee cups boxed up with a bottle of baileys at christmas time. I'll have to check it out. I didn't know until I found the cookie jar that there are other items besides the cups. A creamer, a sugar and more.
DeleteI did notice my sales go up right after I opted into the managed or hassle free returns. I don't know if it was a coincidence or what. Hope your sales pick up soon!
