You heard right. Naked ladies, monsters and flamingos. What do they have in common?
I almost purchased a couple of vintage paint by numbers today at the thrift but passed them up because they weren't done very well. When I got home I decided to do a little research on paint by numbers and I saw that 'naked ladies', 'monsters' and 'flamingos' (not together) sell really well.

Have you ever sold paint by numbers? I'll be keeping an eye out for these although I don't see very many paint by numbers myself.
I've known that a lot of the paint by numbers can sell pretty well. Speaking of naked ladies. I find that old vintage pantyhose sell well if the cover art is really cool. Lots of collectors for that too.
ReplyDeleteHi Margaret. I sold a box of vintage pantyhose recently for pretty good money. I didn't realize the half nude lady on the front was what might have sold them! Good to know for future reference.
DeleteI would have never looked twice at a paint by numbers set. LOL! Thanks!

DeleteI have a few I painted myself when I was a teen now they are 45 yrs old..
ReplyDeleteHow cool! You probably don't want to sell those, hey? They probably aren't naked ladies LOL.
DeleteSadly, I have never found any paint by numbers. But I remember my Mom doing them in the 60's. Would love to find some.
ReplyDeleteI don't see them very often either Linda. Maybe I should have grabbed up the ones I did find.
