Are there any experts on band shirts in my readers? I bought this KISS tshirt. It looks like vintage 80s or 90s to me but it could be one of those fake vintage 'look'. I couldn't find another KISS tshirt like it on ebay or Google images but there were so many I didn't actually look through them all. Just wondering if maybe it has some value. So if you have any advice please share!
Sales picked up after my last post. I was relieved somewhat. I'm still working on setting up the parameters for my listing experiment. I got lots of great feedback from you all.
im terrible with tshirt id sorry. Glad your sales picked up though. Friday/Sat/Sunday/Today (so far) I have had 43 sales....I'm exhausted LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat's great Grace!
DeleteI've been thinking about your listing experiment idea over the last few days. I've been trying to decide if I can use it as an excuse to buy a bunch of plush at yard sales over the summer. :-) It would be an easy way to get my numbers up. Plush is still my fave with the winning combination of inexpensive/fairly plentiful/easy to list-store-ship. BUT, I've also been trying to be fiscally responsible and work through my less-fun backlog of items, and it's slow going. My number of items listed has actually been dropping because I've been selling more than I've been listing (which kinda sounds like a good problem to have, but I know my sales would be even better if I was listing more). Ah, decisions. I'm interested to hear how it works out for you!
ReplyDeleteI'll do a follow up post on the experiment Kari.
DeleteNancy, I'm no concert t-shirt expert, but have you tried the Thrifting with The Boys facebook group? I think they have a few folks on there who could probably help.
ReplyDeleteI haven't. Thanks for the tip!
DeleteWhat is the shirt made of? Most real vintage concert shirts are 50/50. I had a link with a checklist for determining if a shirt really is vintage, will try to find it.
