BOLO Giant Plush

You know those great big bears that we all thought we had to have when we were kids? You'd see it in the store or in a catalog (remember Christmas catalogs?) and you'd think wouldn't it be cool to have that sitting in your bedroom. Maybe it was just me LOL. Well they were probably too expensive for most of our families and/or pretty much a waste of money. I mean what does one do with said giant plush besides look at it. Well not a waste of money anymore. Especially if you can get one for $5 or less. I think this one cost me $4 and I just accepted an offer of $45 plus shipping. Here is a completed search on ebay of Huge Bear. Yes it will take up a lot of shelf space but you can squish him up pretty good if you have to and store him in a box. And it's not just bears. Pretty much any giant plush. See here. Here is mine. Laid flat he measures about 3 ft. Did you ever have a giant plush when you were a kid?

  1. No, but a high school boyfriend bought me a huge box of chocolates once. Now that I can snuggle up with!

    1. Hey I bet you could have sold the box from the chocolates for a bundle on ebay!

  2. Not me, but my kids have had lots of large plush, and like you, I've had great luck selling large pieces for good money.

    1. Awesome. I love plush. My Goodwill sells it pretty cheap. Usually 50 cents a piece except for the larger ones.

    2. Man, if my GW sold plush that cheaply I would be in there everyday! :-) The GWs around here price most plush $4+. It has to be something pretty special for me to pick it up at that price.

  3. Nice find! I use a spot of blue Dawn on a wet washcloth to spot clean any dirty spots. I love selling plush!

    1. Thanks for the tip Deana. I usually use a mixture of water, vinegar and a tiny bit of dish soap. I 'comb out' the fur with a tooth brush reserved for this. I've even sold a couple of rare plush with stains I just couldn't get out. One of those was a rare large Pokemon plush.

  4. So awesome, the stuff I see you and others sell on eBay. Gives me hope to look at it again, but it frustrates the crap out of me. I still have a craving for giant plushies from time to time. Yep really, will never grow up...

    1. Yeah, and this was one of the very soft and squishy variety. Very huggable.
